NORTHEAST INDIANA MASONIC NEWS AND EVENTS
JULY 4TH PARADE – YOUR MASONIC GROUP IS INVITED
We anticipate several Masonic Lodges and appendant bodies to be part of the Angola July 4th parade, next Monday. Your Lodge is welcome to join the group. We usually have a York Rite Color guard, the Northeast Indiana Masonic banner, walking Masons waving at the crowd and the Pokagon Shrine Club will have its’ pontoon float for those who wish to ride (bring a lawn chair).
The parade starts at 11:00 AM, with those attending suggested to be at the starting point by 10:30 AM. We assemble on the drive that is south of the Furth Building about 5 blocks west of the Angola Monument. Come early as you will probably need to walk to the starting point after you park your vehicle. Wear a Masonic shirt if you have one.
Let Benton Davis, Worshipful Master of Angola Lodge #236 know if you plan to attend. Call him at 260-243-9537.
Masonic Shirts Available
Example shown
The Angola Sports Center, in Angola, located at 217 West Maumee, can embroider your name and Masonic Lodge on a golf shirt.
If desired, you can visit the store to order yours.
It may take a couple days to take it home.
Cost is in the neighborhood of $30.
This is good public relations for your Lodge.
